Brasileirão: Grêmio dominates 25th round Team of the Week

Grêmio was the club with the most players featured in the Sofascore Team of the Week for the 25th round of the Brasileirão. In total, four players from the Tricolor Gaúcho were among the weekend’s standouts, with special mention to defender Gustavo Martins, who scored twice in the come-from-behind 3-1 victory over Chapecoense.

In addition to Gustavo Martins, Grêmio was also represented by goalkeeper Weverton, fullback Pavón, who also found the net in the match, and defender Wallace. Together, the four players achieved an average Sofascore of 8.6, underscoring Grêmio’s impact this round.

The second most expensive signing in Flamengo’s history, trailing only Lucas Paquetá, Samuel Lino also reached an impressive feat in 2026. Erick Pulga shines for Bahia

In a match that brought together Bahia and Internacional—teams that once decided the 1988 Brasileirão title—the clash at Arena Fonte Nova ended with five goals. Two of them were scored by striker Erick Pulga, who also had a standout performance and earned a 9.2 rating on Sofascore.

The number 16 jersey was decisive in Tricolor Baiano’s 3-2 win. In addition to his two goals, Erick Pulga contributed a key pass and demonstrated efficiency in one-on-one situations, completing six of eight dribble attempts throughout the match.
